【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamicrographicmethodofdeterminingthenonmetallicinclusionsinrolledorforgedsteelproductshavingareductionratioofatleast3usingstandarddiagrams.Thismethodiswidelyusedtoassessthesuitabilityofasteelforagivenuse.However,sinceitisdifficulttoachievereproducibleresultsowingtotheinfluenceofthetestoperator,evenwithalargenumberofspecimens,precautionsshouldbetakenwhenusingthemethod.NOTEForcertaintypesofsteel(e.g.,freecuttingsteels),thestandardizeddiagramsdescribedinthisInternationalStandardmaynotbeapplicable.ThisInternationalStandardalsoprovidesforthedeterminationofnonmetallicinclusionsbyimageanalysistechnologies(seeannexD).
