【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverstheproceduresfortestingloadedshippingcontainers.Drop,vibrationandcompressiontestsareperformedtomeasuretheabilityoftheshippingcontainertoprotecttheproductfromshock,vibrationandcompressiveforcesencounteredduringnormalexporthandlingandshippingconditions.Thisspecificationisnotintendedtosupplantmaterialspecificationsorexistingpreshipmenttestprocedures.Thisspecificationisnotintendedforusewithhazardousmaterials.1.2Theseproceduresaresuitableforalltypesoflaboratoryapparatus,includingreusableanddisposablemacroandmicroproducts.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.4Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section4,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
