【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestheperformance,designandtestrequirementsofapparatusforgammaradiographywithportable,mobileandfixedexposurecontainersofthevariouscategoriesdefinedinClause4.Itappliestoapparatusdesignedtoallowthecontrolleduseofgammaradiationemittedbyasealedradioactivesourceforindustrialradiographypurposes,inorderthatpersonswillbesafeguardedwhentheapparatusisusedinconformitywiththeregulationsinforceregardingradiationprotection.Itisemphasised,however,thatsofarastransportofapparatusandsealedradioactivesourceisconcerned,compliancewiththisInternationalStandardisnosubstituteforsatisfyingtherequirementsofrelevantinternationaltransportregulations(IAEARegulationsforthesafetransportofradioactivematerials:IAEA-STI-PUB998,SafetyStandardsSeriesNo.ST-1andNo.ST-2,and/ortherelevantnationaltransportregulations).TheoperationaluseofapparatusforindustrialgammaradiographyisnotcoveredbythisInternationalStandard.Usersofthisequipmentshallcomplywithnationalregulationsandcodesofpractice.
